Os táxis são uma opção conveniente para se deslocar no Algarve, especialmente para viagens de e para o aeroporto, hotéis e o Autódromo Internacional do Algarve. Estão facilmente disponíveis nas principais cidades, como Faro, Lagos e Portimão. Os táxis podem ser encontrados em pontos designados, chamados diretamente na rua, ou reservados por telemóvel ou aplicação. As tarifas são calculadas por taxímetro e, para viagens mais longas, é uma boa ideia verificar com o motorista o custo estimado com antecedência.
